Preschool Teacher - Full Time

The duties of a teacher's aid includes interacting with children, preparing snacks, teaching children about numbers, colours and shapes, helping them get dressed and changing their diapers when needed (if applicable). They also evaluate students' social development and physical well-being. A teacher’s aid should be prepared to take on the role of lead teacher when needed. Works cooperatively with the lead teacher to discuss and aide in the implementation of daily plans in accordance with the current curriculum, incorporating the Cayman Islands Department of Education Framework. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
